2025-2026 Caymanian Scholarship Applicants
The Caymanian Scholarship is available to Caymanian students that will be entering Grade 9 or Grade 10 (Year 10 or Year 11) for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are interested in this, please reach out to [email protected] prior to completing the application to provide proof of Caymanian status.

Admissions Process
Contact CIS Admissions for seat availability and to request a tour if necessary.
If you are interested in applying to CIS outside of the current school year and the following school year, please complete an Inquiry / Future Interest Form. You will be contacted ahead of time with information regarding the release date of the application you are interested in for your child(ren).

- Complete the online Application. Please take note of the items that need to be submitted with each application (listed below).
- The CI$350 application fee* can be paid via credit/debit card during the application process. We do not accept bank wire/online transfers, cash, or checks.
- Once a student’s application file is submitted, the admissions team reviews the documents and begins scheduling assessments. After we receive the confidential student reference form, assessments are completed, and all documentation has been received, we will make an enrollment decision.
* please note that this is a non-refundable fee regardless of enrollment outcome.
Required Documents
- Face Page of child’s Passport
- Proof of residency in the Cayman Islands (one of the following:)
- Cayman Islands passport
- Immigration stamp from child’s passport
- Copy of parent’s work permit letter in which the child is named as a dependent
- Recent Photograph of Child – not more than six months old.
- Immunization record
- Academic records for the past two years
- Your child's most recent report card/progress report and the final report card/progress report given from the previous school year.
- Official transcripts and report cards for every year of high school attended (if applicable)
- Confidential Student Reference Form
- IMPORTANT! This form must be signed by you and sent to your child’s present school. This is a private document between that school and CIS and must be sent directly to Admissions from that school.
- If your child has not attended school as yet at the time of applying, this form will not be required.

Completed student's application file is reviewed by the CIS Admission Committee.
Once the application file is complete (receipt of academic reports, the confidential reference form, special service/program documentation (if applicable) and CIS assessments has been done), our Admissions Committee is usually able to provide an enrollment decision within a two week period. However, this time period is case-by-case and dependent on each applicant package.
There are four types of enrollment decisions that could be received:
- Acceptance
- Conditional Acceptance
- Acceptance - Placed in to Wait-pool
- Denied Admissions
Once an enrollment decision is made by the Admissions Committee, the Admissions Officer will send the family the official enrollment decision letter via the e-mail addresses provided in the application.
Once the applicant is accepted to CIS, a non-refundable seat security deposit of CI$1000 needs to be paid within 10 days of receiving their enrollment contract.
