Fostering Creativity and Expression
The Arts are considered an integral part of student learning here at CIS, and students are encouraged to explore their natural interest and potential in a range of creative experiences. Music, theater, classic art, photography, design and technology and so much more are all part of the visual arts, performing arts and technological arts programs.
Opportunities for Every Student
Students are educated in a range of spaces from classical art and music rooms to modern STEAM labs and makerspaces are all interconnected elements of deepening and encouraging student’s understanding of their own and other’s artistic expression. Throughout the school year, students work together in collaborative groups to create a variety of concerts, plays and art shows which are then shared and showcased to the school community.
Students in Middle School and High School have the opportunity to participate in band, choir and annual musical theater productions.
