Arrival & Dismissal

To ensure a smooth beginning to the school day, we have changed our arrival practices to allow students to start their day in their classrooms.

Drop Off

• Drop off at the playground and soccer field at 7:45 AM 

Teacher supervision in these areas begins at 7:45 AM.  Parents are welcome to arrive earlier with their children and use the facilities before 7:45 AM, but please do not leave your child alone/unattended at school prior to this.  On rainy days, students can go directly to the classroom.

Pick Up & After School Activities

• Dismissal is 3:00 PM for all Elementary School students
• After School Activities run from 3:10 to 3:55 PM

A reminder that Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students should be picked up at their classroom.  Grades 3-5 students should be picked up in the fire lane behind the school, at the bottom of the stairs by their class.  

Once a student has been released to a parent or guardian, that adult is responsible for providing appropriate supervision while on campus. We encourage all parents and guardians to keep their children within eyesight and monitor their safety and behavior appropriately. 

Drop-Off

The building is generally open by 7:30 a.m. Students who come in have breakfast available around 7:30. First bell is at 8:00 am, and the first class starts at 8:00 am.

Pick-Up

Parents are asked to come through the appropriate pick up areas. We suggest using the D block parking space or high school parking lot. When parents park in the road or in the staff area in the front of the building, or line the driveway we run the risk of the building not being accessible to emergency vehicles.
